Synoptic Gospels

There are three Synoptic Gospels: Matthew, Mark, and Luke. From these three it appears that Mark was written first. Matthew and Luke used Mark as a source for part of their documents. They used a document often referred to as “Q” for the material which is similar in each of their books. Finally, they used a distinct source for their unique material.
